In markets where Liberty Mutual Surety is not directly represented, we leverage our global network (fronting companies) to issue guarantees. A fronting company issues the guarantee locally to the beneficiary once we have provided the instructions and a (counter) guarantee to the fronting company. Our fronting partners are well-known international insurers that we are acquainted with through the International Credit Insurance and Surety Association (ICISA) or the Panamerican Surety Association (PASA). We also collaborate with banks that have a global network.
